All about automation Friedrichshafen is a specialist trade fair for industrial automation, robotics, and digitalization in the Lake Constance region. The next edition will take place on 2 and 3 March 2027 at Messe Friedrichshafen.

At the trade fair, users and decision-makers from the international Lake Constance region and beyond meet manufacturers of automation components and systems, robotics providers, system integrators, digitalization experts, software providers, service providers, and distributors. The focus is on practical solutions for machinery, plants, and production, as well as topics such as flexible automation and smart production.

The event is part of the all about automation trade fair series and is positioned by the organizer as the leading automation event in the Lake Constance region. The 2026 edition attracted 534 exhibitors and 6,850 trade visitors. The exhibition area in 2026 covered 7,529 square metres.

In addition to the exhibition, the trade fair features Talk Lounges, presentations, guided tours, and dedicated areas for start-ups and innovations. Friedrichshafen is one of the established locations in the event series, and the organizer describes it as an automation highlight in the Lake Constance region for the past 12 years.
